About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Analyst (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on manufacturing processes, process optimization, production workflows, quality systems, operational efficiency, and industrial engineering.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated outputs related to manufacturing operations, process performance, workflow optimization, root cause analysis, quality improvement, and production efficiency. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for manufacturing intelligence, process analytics, and operational decision-making.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process improvement, production operations, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Create deliverables addressing common manufacturing and process-related scenarios
Review and evaluate AI-generated analyses related to manufacturing processes, production workflows, and operational performance
Assess AI outputs for process accuracy, logical reasoning, operational feasibility, and consistency
Analyze production processes, workflow efficiency, manufacturing KPIs, and process performance metrics
Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, quality concerns, operational risks, and improvement opportunities in AI-generated content
Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in manufacturing and process analysis workflows
Support projects involving process optimization, production improvement, operational excellence, manufacturing analytics, and quality management
Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards
Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on manufacturing intelligence and process engineering
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes, industrial engineering, process improvement, production operations, operational excellence, or related functions
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production systems, process optimization, and operational KPIs
Experience conducting process analysis, root cause analysis, workflow assessments, and performance improvement initiatives
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, Operational Excellence, or related methodologies
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Excellent written English communication skills
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and identify operational inaccuracies or process-related gaps
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or process industries
Familiarity with ERP, MES, manufacturing analytics platforms, or process monitoring systems
Experience with quality management systems, process validation, CAPA, root cause investigations, or continuous improvement programs
Exposure to Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
Knowledge of production planning, supply chain operations, and manufacturing performance management is advantageous
