Role Summary
The Manager – Corporate Visual Merchandising will lead end-to-end visual merchandising execution for all New Store Openings (NSO) and ensure consistent brand presentation across stores. The role is responsible for translating brand strategy into impactful store environments, driving commercial VM standards, and ensuring flawless store launch readiness through strong cross-functional collaboration.
This role combines planning, design sensibility, project management, and on-ground execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
New Store Opening (NSO) Leadership
- Own VM planning and execution for all new store launches across regions.
- Develop store-specific VM layouts, zoning, and category placement aligned to commercial strategy.
- Ensure timely installation of fixtures, props, graphics, and VM elements before store opening.
- Conduct pre-opening audits to ensure 100% readiness and brand compliance.
- Travel to NSO locations for setup and launch support.
Corporate VM Strategy & Standards
- Define and maintain VM guidelines, planograms (POGs), and store display standards.
- Drive consistency in brand storytelling, product presentation, and customer journey across stores.
- Create seasonal VM concepts, window displays, and promotional setups.
- Standardize VM processes for scale and operational efficiency.
Commercial & Performance Focus
- Align VM with sales, category priorities, and inventory strategies.
- Use VM to improve, Conversion, Basket size, Sell-through, Store productivity
- Monitor POG compliance and improve VM scorecards across stores.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Buying, Planning, Marketing, Store Design, Projects, and Operations for NSO readiness.
- Manage vendor partners for props, graphics, fixtures, and installations.
- Control budgets and timelines for VM execution.
Team & Capability Building
- Train store teams and regional VM teams on standards and execution.
- Build VM capability at store level through SOPs and toolkits.
- Lead audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
