Senior Product Analyst & Merchandiser
(Retail Stores + E-commerce)

This role sits at the heart of that.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Product Analyst & Merchandiser, you will own what we sell, how much we sell, where we sell it, and how fast it moves - across physical stores and e-commerce.
This is not a backend reporting role.
This is a decision-making role that directly impacts revenue, margins, inventory health, and customer experience.
You will work closely with founders, category teams, retail heads, and marketing.
What You Will Own
1. Merchandising & Category Planning
- Own category-wise assortment planning for stores and e-commerce
- Decide depth vs width across price points, styles, and collections
- Ensure the right product mix by store, city, and channel
- Plan launches, replenishments, and exits for collections
- Balance hero products, experimental designs, and volume drivers
2. Product & Sales Analytics
- Track SKU-level performance across stores and online
- Analyze sell-through, velocity, ageing, margins, and returns
- Identify winning designs, slow movers, and dead inventory early
- Build actionable insights from:
- AOV / ASP trends
- Units per bill
- Conversion drivers
- Channel-wise performance
- Convert data into clear buy / hold / exit decisions
3. Inventory & Replenishment Strategy
- Maintain healthy inventory turns across channels
- Plan store-wise and channel-wise replenishment
- Control ageing inventory with smart pricing, bundling, or VM strategies
- Work with retail & marketing teams on clearance and push plans
4. Store + E-commerce Alignment
- Ensure product consistency and logic between offline and online
- Decide which collections are:
- Store-first
- Online-first
- Exclusive / limited drops
- Align merchandising with:
- VM displays
- Campaign launches
- Seasonal trends & festivals
5. Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain dashboards for:
- Category performance
- Store-wise metrics
- Sell-through & ageing
- Margin contribution
- Share weekly and monthly insights with leadership
- Highlight risks early and propose corrective actions
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in merchandising, product analytics, or category management
- Experience across retail + e-commerce (jewellery / fashion / lifestyle preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset - Excel, dashboards, logic > gut feel
- Clear understanding of inventory economics
- Ability to think both commercially and creatively
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, founder-led environment
