About the Role We are seeking an  enthusiastic and skilled Basketball Coach  to train, mentor, and inspire students during practices and competitive games. The role focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and creating a safe and motivating environment for young athletes.

Key Responsibilities  Coaching & Player Development
Plan and conduct structured basketball training sessions for students.
Teach sport-specific skills, techniques, and game strategies.
Support individual player development through focused coaching and feedback.
Game Strategy & Team Building
Develop game plans and strategies for practices and matches.
Foster teamwork, discipline, and fair play among players.
Resolve team-related issues constructively to strengthen collaboration.
Safety & Sportsmanship
Ensure a safe training environment to keep athletes healthy and injury-free.
Promote adherence to the organization's code of conduct and ethical play.
Communication & Coordination
Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and other coaches.
Coordinate with the sports department to align training goals and schedules.

Education, Experience & Skills  Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience
Previous basketball coaching experience preferred.
Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of basketball rules, skills, and strategies.
Ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate training activities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Personal Attributes
Passion for sports and youth development.
Ability to act as a positive role model on and off the court.
Enjoys working with children in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Additional Advantage
Candidates who have played at  National or Regional level  will be given preference.
