Position: Assistant Manager – Logistics
Department: Supply Chain & Logistics
Location:
Bangalore (HQ)
What You'll Do
Logistics Operations — Plan and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, monitor daily dispatches, manage documentation (invoices, e-way bills, GRN, delivery challans), and resolve delivery delays.
Transportation & Distribution — Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability, freight negotiation, and route planning. Ensure optimal load planning and oversee last-mile delivery performance.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management — Evaluate vendor performance on TAT, cost, and reliability. Handle escalations related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Cost Control & Compliance — Monitor logistics spend, implement cost reduction measures, ensure GST and statutory compliance, and support internal audits.
Reporting & Analysis — Prepare MIS reports on freight cost and delivery performance. Analyze logistics KPIs and recommend process improvements.
What We're Looking For
Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain processes
Good negotiation and vendor management skills
Proficiency in MS Excel
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Operations or equivalent
3–6 years of experience in logistics or supply chain (FMCG experience preferred)
