Assistant Accountant Bangor (BT19) Salary negotiable DOE McKinty Associates are delighted to be working with a multi-site construction business who have an immediate need for an experienced Assistant Accountant. Reporting into the Financial Controller the main requirement for the role is as follows:
Purchase Ledger Posting invoices Reconciling supplier statements Sales Ledger Calculating and reconciling works schedule Raising invoicing Posting receipts Accounts payable Maintaining supplier payment schedule Processing and Reconciling supplier payments Processing and payment of wages Processing and payment of Subcontractors HMRC/PAYE Monthly returns CIS Returns Month End Bank Reconciliations Analysis and reporting on Project performance Other adhoc duties as required Eligibility criteria:
Qualification - we will consider someone who is qualified by experience or Accounting Technician(AAT / ATI Qualified) Previous Construction experience (Desirable) Experience working as part of a busy finance team (Minimum 3 years) Previous construction experience Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently but also as part of a team Applications for this role will be considered immediately with a view to placing the right individual ASAP, so please register your interest early.
