Management Accountant Bangor (BT19) Salary c.£35K - £45K DOE McKinty Associates are delighted to be working with a multi-site construction business who have an immediate need for commercially minded Management Accountant to join our clients finance team and support the continued growth of the business. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working closely with project managers and the wider finance team the role is responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, payroll, CIS compliance, financial reporting, KPI reporting, project margin analysis, and operational performance reporting.
The successful candidate will provide timely, accurate financial information and insights to support business performance and decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop within a fast-growing, project-driven business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Management Accounts Month-End Monthly Payroll Bank Reconciliations Manage Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) administration Work-in-progress (WIP) accounting KPI Reporting & Management Information Project Margin & Operational Analysis Support budgeting and forecasting processes Assist with audit requests Prepare information required for VAT returns and other statutory submissions Other adhoc duties as required Eligibility criteria:
Qualification
-ATI qualified, part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role (Minimum 3 years). Previous experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, contracting, or project based businesses. Experience administering CIS returns and subcontractor payments. Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail.
