Summary:

** This is a part time permanent post.
Children and Young People Service are recruiting to a Professional Practice Assistant, providing a flexible, high quality, efficient and responsive business support service complying with procedures and practices to support the delivery of frontline services. Applicants will be based at Kenworthy House, George Street, Hull.
Duties will include answering telephone calls for Children's Safeguarding which can be difficult and challenging, updating and retrieving information within Liquid Logic, along with a variety of other administration tasks.
NVQ level 2, or equivalent qualification and experience of working in a busy demanding office environment is required. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and proficient in the use of IT. The role can be emotionally demanding, you must be able to maintain confidentiality working within GDP Regulations.

** PRINCIPAL

ACCOUNTABILITIES :
** 1. To promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults.
2. To ensure excellent customer service meets customer promises and service standards of Adult, Children and Families by providing a high quality and efficient general administration support service, communicating with members of the public, the call centre and internal and external agencies to ensure best service is delivered.
3. Undertake a range of administration duties involving highly sensitive and confidential information requiring initiative.
4. Maintains specific databases, inputting and extracting data, maintain up to date accurate and quality data on appropriate systems.  Creating, collating and distributing any requests for services to enable the delivery of frontline services.
5. Undertakes document processing functions including the preparation and production of documents in a professional style using a range of software packages.
6. Processes requests for goods and services following procurement procedures verifying deliveries.
7 Undertake a range of confidential filing systems including sensitive personal information, updating/tracking, retrieval and archiving in accordance with statutory and Information Governance procedures.
