Steel Estimator TLNT1_NI

Location: Bangor

Estimator We are seeking an Estimator to join a busy construction and engineering team. The successful candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates, review drawings and specifications, and support projects to stay within budget.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Key duties:

Carry out steel take-offs from drawings, specifications and bills of quantities. Prepare cost estimates and detailed quotations for structural steelwork, staircases, balustrades and architectural metalwork. Work with project managers, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing. Follow health and safety, quality and CE marking procedures. Handle customer enquiries, provide pricing and support stock purchasing and control. Requirements:
Experience as an Estimator or similar role within construction or engineering. Good understanding of steelwork and engineering principles. Strong maths, analytical and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and a full driving licence. AutoCAD experience is desirable but not essential.
