Location: Bangor

We are looking for a motivated Motion Designer to join our dynamic Motion team here at Revere.

You are a talented and passionate Motion Designer, delivering outstanding motion work with a proactive, collaborative approach. You are able to use your initiative to work on a range of projects including: 2D and 3D animations, live action, audio and podcast production, ensuring delivery of all assets to the highest standards within budget – and to deadline – in-line with client expectations.

Your

responsibilities

Show the ability to understand the brief and project requirements, and develop appropriate motion design and creative solutions

Originate creative motion design solutions as well as work with others to develop existing campaigns and ideas

Produce work to a consistently high creative standard, technically accurate and in accordance with given specifications and client brand guidelines

Encoding, converting and editing videos and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics

Be an enthusiastic follower of motion, graphic, web, social and technological trends

Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process

Contribute to a collaborative and innovative culture within the team

Check your own work and ensure all appropriate internal and external approvals are obtained at each stage of a project

Ensuring work is backed up to the server and locally

Support the Motion Lead and Creative Director when urgent deadlines need to be met on projects and tasks

Collaborate with creatives on the storyboarding process

Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas

Keep abreast of advancements in animation as well as new technologies and techniques, contemporary trends in production design and popular music to deliver cutting-edge work

Proactively communicate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of projects

Plan your time effectively, in conjunction with senior team members, to meet task deadlines

Accurate timekeeping and keeping timesheets up-to-date

Lead by example with design best practices and knowledge sharing with other members of the Creative, Technology Solutions and Client Services teams

Ensuring neat setup of files, including layer naming, masks, smart objects, style sheets, and removing unused elements

Strong interest in motion design, audio, film, and 3D, with a commitment to staying current with industry developments

After Effects animation skills with plugin knowledge, C4D skills including animation, rendering and lighting, and modelling

Knowledge of editing techniques using Premiere Pro

Be a people person, like to work with others and collaborate daily

Experience in character design and animation

Have creative flair and originality

Have outstanding motion ideation skills

An understanding of audio and multitrack sound recording

Be overly obsessive about everything technical and 2D and 3D

Understanding the needs of the client services team to show awareness of day-to-day client demands

An ability to understand new ideas quickly and to convey those ideas to others

Enjoyment of working and sharing ideas with other members of the team

Understand what it is like to work in an agency and understand what the term ‘agency life’ means

Have excellent verbal and written communications skills

Be able to take direction well from senior members of the team

Be adaptable and flexible with the ability to multi-task when required

Bachelor’s Degree in Animation & VFX or Motion Graphics preferred

Strong portfolio/showreel showcasing high-end motion design skills
