This wonderful, small school is seeking a passionate and experienced Year 5/6 Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive primary school in Southminster, Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly, dedicated team where your contribution will have a direct impact on the development and well-being of our students. The successful candidate will join us on a permanent contract starting in September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for Year 5/6 students across the curriculumEnsure that all pupils achieve their best and make good progressProvide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentWork closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the students' developmentParticipate in school events, parent meetings, and staff development opportunitiesWe are looking for someone who:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalentHas proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5 and/or Year 6Is passionate about creating an inspiring and engaging classroom environmentHas excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIs committed to promoting the academic and personal development of every childHas a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirementsWhy Join Us?
