Electrical Solar Design / Surveyor — Remote / Field Based

£50,000 - £60,000 + Van + Mileage allowance + Bonus + Pension + Progression + Holidays

Are you from a solar design / surveying background, with previous experience designing cable calculations?

Do you want to join an industry leading company that are going through a major growth period within the Solar industry, creating lots of career development opportunities.

This company install commercial Solar PV systems & Solar Powered Car Ports to clients all across the UK from 6kw up to multi-megawatt projects. They are MCS accredited and have an excellent reputation within the industry. They are looking for Commercial Electricians that will help with their increasing work load.

• Conduct site surveys to evaluate suitability of Solar installations
• Coordinate survey tasks with the technical team ensuring punctual and self-motivated execution of your schedule
• Identify and document any defects or issues that could affect the proposed system, and prepare a comprehensive electrical bill of quantities and scope of works

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant regulations.
• Experience in identifying and assessing defects or issues in Solar PV installation.
• Must hold 18th edition, AM2, NVQ level 3 and a 2391
