Job DescriptionAre you interested in Forensics? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Team Leader, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and committed Team Leader to join our Forensics team. As a member of our team, it is key that you can work efficiently and independently, as well as working well as part of a wider team. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you will support will constantly change.
The tasks you will undertake will include:
- To lead and manage a team of forensic staff to ensure analytical work, reporting and laboratory processes are delivered to the required quality standards, specifications and turnaround times
- Coordinate team workload, monitoring performance against departmental targets, and ensuring staff are trained, competent and operating in compliance with laboratory quality systems, including ISO
17025 and Forensic Regulator requirements - Provide technical guidance and support to team members, act as an escalation point for technical queries, and ensure that operational efficiency, quality standards and service level agreements are consistently achieved
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to motivate and develop staff within a busy production environment
- Ability to balance operational delivery with quality and compliance requirements
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
