Equity Analyst

Our client has a new and exciting permanent full-time opportunity for an Equity Analyst. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and strong analytical skills. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and other investment professionals to contribute to the decision-making process and help optimise the equity portfolio.

Job Duties:

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on equities to identify investment opportunities
• Analyse financial statements, industry trends, and economic data to support investment recommendations
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess company valuations and market conditions
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to execute investment strategies
• Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Stay informed of market developments, regulatory changes, and economic trends impacting equity investments

Job Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in equity research or investment analysis
• Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and valuation techniques
• Knowledge of global financial markets, investment principles, and risk management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
