Care Assistant

Join Alcedo Care as a Care Assistant and support people of all ages to live safely and independently in their homes.

Pay £13.40 to £15.75 per hour (equivalent to rolled‑up pay £15.47 to £17.89) plus pension, holiday pay and a £500 referral bonus (subject to T&Cs). We offer a 2‑day paid training programme, company‑paid DBS until 31 December 2025, enhanced bank holiday rates, mileage contribution for drivers, flexible working hours (full‑time, part‑time and casual) and 24/7 employee well‑being support.

• Personal care (washing, dressing, continence support)
• Medication and meal preparation
• Household tasks and daily routines
• Encourage independence and provide companionship
• Support complex care (tracheostomy, PEG feeding, postural support), children’s support and mental health support when trained.

• At least 18 years old
• Flexible hours, including alternate weekends
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
• 6 months hands‑on UK care experience required for Complex Care, Children’s or Mental Health duties.
