Location: Twisel Lodge, 19A Church Ave, Holywood, BT18 9BJ

Salary: £12.60 per hour

Hours: Bank – as and when required. Flexibility to work within the rota system, including evenings and weekends.

Twisel Lodge in Holywood Co. Down is a residential home, registered with RQIA, providing services for 8 adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs. We also operate a respite facility for additional care breaks.

As part of the caring team, you will help create and maintain a caring and safe environment, ensuring the personal care and social needs of the residents are fulfilled.

• Refer a Friend Scheme – £250 if the candidate remains in post for a minimum of 6 months.
• Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks in each leave year (inclusive of public and bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 33 days per year.

• A minimum of 6 months caring experience (paid employment or personal caring responsibilities).
• Effective verbal and written communication, including numeracy skills.
• Interest in working with people in a care environment.
• Awareness of the needs of people with learning and physical disabilities.
