As a Project Engineer at Conosco, you will be a key member of our Technical and Security Consultancy team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing technical solutions for our clients, both remotely and onsite. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and a customer‑centric approach to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative IT solutions.

You will work closely with Project Consultants and the Project Management Office to ensure seamless solution deployment while upholding industry best practices, security compliance, and operational efficiency. Given the evolving nature of technology, you will also be expected to stay informed on current trends, including cybersecurity threats, cloud advancements, and emerging IT infrastructure strategies.

The Project Engineer must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Implement and maintain cloud-based and infrastructure solutions.
Job responsibilities
Technical Implementation
  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud‑based and on‑premises infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Intune, Entra ) and Azure‑based solutions.
  • Execute seamless migrations of data, devices, and applications between platforms.
  • Configure and manage networking devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Build, configure, and administer physical and virtual servers (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V).
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Project Execution & Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, tailored solutions.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, providing regular project updates.
  • Accurately document project progress, system configurations, and implementation details in the project management system.
  • Support after‑hours implementations when required (paid overtime).

Qualifications
  • Professional certification in one or more of the following: M365 Administrator Expert, CCNA, Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 suite and Azure solutions.
  • Solid understanding of network design, security, and configuration (switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V).
  • Knowledge of public and private cloud computing platforms and cloud‑hosted file storage solutions.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with device and data migration tools.
  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
