Overview
Spy Cloud is on a mission to disrupt cybercrime and protect users by preventing cyberattacks and safeguarding accounts worldwide. We seek a Technical Account Manager (TAM) who uses strong customer-facing skills and technical acumen to help customers adopt Spy Cloud products and realize value.
What You'll Do- Project Management:
Project manage enterprise onboarding and customer integrations, ensuring timely and successful launches to achieve customer-defined value. Monitor product adoption from initiation through delivery and proactively interface with customers on technical matters. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and other internal teams to translate customer goals into executable technical setups with adoption plans. - Customer Goals & Technical Leadership:
Understand customer goals and how they measure success; proactively address technical challenges or opportunities, owning the process including communication of issues, goals, requirements, and solutions. - Technical Guidance & Innovation:
Establish and maintain a deep understanding of Spy Cloud's products; identify proactive, innovative ways to address customer problems and escalate as needed. - Timelines & Transformation:
Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goals, and business transformation strategies. - Best Practices Development:
Contribute to development best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support scale; leverage customer metrics to determine usage and value. - Customer Advocacy:
Represent the customer internally, provide feedback, and identify ways to improve the customer's experience through processes and collateral to drive value realization.
- Technical Acumen:
Strong technical acumen with experience influencing change at all levels; experience with enterprise IAM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Entra , Okta, Ping Identity) and enterprise SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto XSOAR, Azure Sentinel). - Integrations & Development:
Familiarity with crafting integration/automation solutions in Python; solid knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and databases; experience with REST technologies and cloud solutions. - Solutions & Documentation:
Experience translating business goals into technical solutions; track record of creating documentation of processes, playbooks, and other information for TAMs; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with customer development teams. - Customer Enablement:
Practical experience working with SaaS enterprise platforms and supporting or leading customer onboarding or technical integrations for a SaaS product.
- 5+ years in Technical Account Management or Sales Engineering in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with SaaS solutions; hands-on programming/scripting experience with APIs.
- Cybersecurity and account takeover prevention experience is a plus.
