Join to apply for the Azure Dev Ops Engineer role at Neupulse
If you’re an Azure Dev Ops or platform-focused engineer who wants real ownership
, this role is designed for you.
This is a chance to:
- take end-to-end responsibility for a production Azure environment
- bring development and infrastructure in-house
, rather than inheriting decisions made elsewhere - shape how an app is hosted, released, monitored, and trusted as it prepares to go live
- work closely with product and engineering, not at arm’s length
It’s not a “keep the lights on” role, and it’s not about ticking boxes. You’ll be trusted to improve systems, make sensible trade-offs, and raise the bar on reliability and quality — at a point where those decisions genuinely matter.
Company and why nowNeupulse builds technology that helps people with Tourette’s take control of their tics.
The company is approaching a critical milestone. After extensive development and testing, the device and app are preparing to go live in the coming months. Until now, much of the app development and hosting has been handled by a third party. As Neupulse moves toward launch and beyond, that responsibility is coming in-house.
This role sits right at the centre of that transition — ensuring the platform is robust, well-run, and ready to scale as real users come on board.
What you’ll be doingIn the first few months, you’ll focus on understanding how things work today — the current Azure setup, the app architecture, the database, and the release process.
From there, your role is about:
- taking ownership of the Azure hosting and cloud environment
- improving reliability, monitoring, and security
- tightening deployment, testing, and quality processes
- making the platform easier to change safely and scale confidently
- acting as the in-house point of expertise for cloud operations and app quality
As the company grows, the systems and practices you put in place will grow with it.
Why someone in a good job might choose this roleThis role tends to appeal to people who are:
- maintaining infrastructure they didn’t design
- constrained by narrow Dev Ops or QA remits
- frustrated by slow decisions or limited influence
- ready for a role with more ownership and impact
Here, you’ll have:
- genuine autonomy over how the platform is run
- the opportunity to design and improve systems
, not just operate them - close collaboration with the people building the product
- work that has a direct, meaningful impact on users’ lives
This role is a strong fit for someone who has:
- worked in a small team or startup environment
- taken responsibility for cloud infrastructure rather than just following playbooks
- solid hands-on experience with Azure
- a practical Dev Ops mindset and a strong focus on quality and reliability
You don’t need prior medical device experience. What matters most is judgement, ownership, and the ability to improve systems over time.
