SC Cleared DevOps Engineer

Contract Length: 12 months (with scope to extend)

We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Dev Ops Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, highly automated cloud platforms primarily on Microsoft Azure, with openness to hybrid cloud experience across Azure and AWS. The role focuses on CI/CD automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerised workloads, security, and platform reliability within a regulated public sector environment.

This is a hands-on contract position requiring strong experience across Azure Dev Ops, Docker, Terraform, and cloud platform operations.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops
• Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure using Terraform (and ARM/Bicep where applicable)
• Build, deploy, and support Docker-based containerised workloads across multiple environments
• Operate and support Azure PaaS and IaaS services with a strong focus on security, reliability, and cost optimisation
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response for cloud platforms
• Support production operations including incident management, root-cause analysis, and operational runbooks
• Collaborate with platform, application, and data teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions
• Support hybrid cloud patterns and tooling where workloads span Azure and AWS

• Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer on Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines
• Practical experience with Docker and containerised deployments
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
• Broad Azure platform experience including identity, networking, storage, and security services
• Experience operating secure cloud platforms in regulated environments
