The role
We’re hiring a Solicitor or Senior Immigration Caseworker to run impactful, varied casework while contributing to training, partnerships and policy projects. You’ll be on a supported pathway to supervision and join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team modernising how immigration advice is delivered across the UK.
At a glance
- Contract: Full-time
- Location: Remote within the UK (occasional travel)
- Salary: £42,000 (up to a higher amount depending on experience) + 5% employer pension contribution + guaranteed annual salary review
- Leave: 25 days + bank holidays, rising by 1 day per year (max +5), additional festive closure and paid dependant leave
- Start: As soon as available
- Reporting to: Senior Solicitor
What you’ll do
- Advise and represent clients across personal and business immigration.
- Deliver online consultations and application checks (including our Free Movement partnership).
- Manage a busy, well-supported caseload with clear supervision and quality assurance.
- Feed practice insights into policy, communications and our Stakeholder Alliance meetings (EU citizens, Scotland, Northern Ireland/regional).
- Mentor colleagues, contribute to training for non-profits and stakeholders, and invest in our digital processes and templates.
About you
- Solicitor or IAAS Senior Caseworker or IAA Level 3 (current or previously held), with 2+ years’ immigration casework experience.
- Strong knowledge across key routes (personal and/or business).
- Confident managing your own caseload and communicating clearly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable working fully remotely using digital tools; organised, values-driven and trauma-informed.
- On a supported pathway to supervision, keen to mentor others and grow into a supervisor role.
- Nice to have: IAAS Supervisor accreditation; supervision/training experience.
