Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Service Manager to lead and manage our busy service department. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. The Service Manager will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring smooth workflow within the department.

A strong background in customer service would be desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the service department to ensure the highest standards of customer care and operational efficiency
  • Oversee all daily service operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Monitor service quality metrics and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Coordinate with a busy sales department to ensure a seamless service delivery.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback swiftly and professionally.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in aftersales management, ideally within the automotive sector would be an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with vehicle servicing, warranties, and dealership operations is desirable.
