Production Operative – Forklift Licence

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our team at our candle manufacturing facility.

You will play an important role in our day-to-day manufacturing process, helping us produce luxury candles and home fragrance products to a consistently high standard.

A valid forklift licence is essential for this position.

• Pouring candles in line with production specifications and quality standards.
• Assembling products and packaging ready for dispatch.
• Labelling and preparing finished goods for shipment.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised work environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assisting with stock control and replenishing materials when required, including the safe movement of stock using a forklift.
• Operating a forklift safely and responsibly when required.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Carrying out other production duties as directed by the Factory Supervisor or Manager.

• A qualified forklift operator with a valid forklift licence
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Organised, with good attention to detail.
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow company procedures.
• Physically capable of carrying out the duties required of the role.
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment is desirable.

• £13.00 per hour, increasing to £14.00 per hour after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
