About Cleo

At Cleo, we’re not just building another fintech app. We’re embarking on a mission to fundamentally change humanity’s relationship with money. Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of background or income, has access to a hyper‑intelligent financial advisor in their pocket. That’s the future we’re creating.

Cleo is a rare success story: a profitable, fast‑growing unicorn with over $200 million in ARR and growing over 2x year‑over‑year. We have an exceptionally high bar for talent, seeking individuals who are not only at the top of their field but also embody our culture of collaboration and positive impact.

If you’re driven by complex challenges that push your expertise, the chance to shape something truly transformative, and the potential to share in Cleo’s success as we scale, this might be your perfect fit.

About the Role

If you’re a customer‑obsessed Product Marketing Manager with AI or deep‑tech experience, this is your opportunity to drive real impact. You’ll be the dedicated PMM for our AI / chat pillar, owning how we develop and bring our next‑generation AI features to market. We’re hiring in the US (East Coast–friendly hours) and London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a tight product–marketing partnership, collaborating on product roadmaps by owning consumer insight and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead market research, whitespace exploration, and competitive analysis to fuel product strategy and differentiation.
  • You are the go‑to expert on our AI product and underlying technology – where we win, where we don’t, and why.
  • Deeply understand our U.S.–based audience’s money habits, needs, and behaviors across AI and financial products.
  • Own end‑to‑end GTM for AI‑driven features, from early‑stage concepting through launch, iteration, and scaled growth.
  • Create clear, compelling positioning and messaging that lands emotionally and functionally, grounded in insight and differentiated by brand.
  • Write sharp strategy and creative briefs that help cross‑functional teams produce their best work.
  • Design and execute channel strategies and launch plans from scratch, whether it’s a major feature rollout or a market‑defining innovation.
  • Use data and experimentation to identify what’s working, what’s not, and where the next opportunity lies.
  • Partner with lifecycle and performance marketing teams to drive adoption, engagement, and long‑term retention.
  • Define campaign KPIs and measurement frameworks to track effectiveness and incremental growth.
What we’re looking for
  • 6+ years of product marketing experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth tech environments.
  • Strong AI or deep‑tech fluency: you can translate complex systems into simple, compelling user value without losing accuracy.
  • Proven experience launching and scaling products (including 0→1), with strong instincts for what resonates with consumers.
  • Comfortable working closely with Engineering and Product on deeply technical products.
  • Customer‑obsessed, curious, and thoughtful—unafraid to challenge assumptions and raise the bar.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity; biased toward action and impact.
  • U.S. experience is required.
What you get
  • A competitive compensation package (base + equity) with bi‑annual reviews, aligned to our quarterly OKR planning cycles.
  • Work at one of the fastest‑growing tech startups, backed by top VC firms, Balderton & EQT Ventures.
  • A clear progression plan that allows you to keep growing—trying new things, leading others, challenging the status quo and owning your impact, with our full support.
  • Flexibility to maintain work‑life balance: we work with everyone to ensure they have the balance they need.
  • Work where you work best: we’re a globally distributed team. If you live in London we have a hybrid approach; if you’re outside we encourage regular on‑site visits. We’ll cover travel costs.
Other Benefits
  • Company‑wide performance reviews every 6 months.
  • Generous pay increases for high‑performing team members.
  • Equity top‑ups for team members getting promoted.
  • 25 days annual leave a year + public…
