Smyths Toys is one of the world’s largest specialty retailers of children’s toys. We operate both online and through physical retail stores across Europe and the UK. We source our product range from a wide array of UK, European and international suppliers.

We are looking for Sales Assistants to join our Superstores. This is a temporary contract with a pay rate of £12.90 per hour (over 21) and £11.00 per hour (under 21).

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers

• Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:
  Nursery
• Flexible to work 7 days a week and increased hours during training before official store opening.
• Initial temporary basis to allow you to see if you enjoy the fast paced world of retail.
