Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexibility for those who wish to work as few as 12 hours per week.

• Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
• Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
• Apply the training you have received to work safely, effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
• Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand the store's performance and work to drive service, sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Live our values, make everyone feel welcome and follow all policies.
• At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.

Only individuals who have passed the school leaver’s age will be considered. The role may close earlier than advertised if we receive a high volume of applicants. Applicants must be over the age of 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines and spirits, counters, bakery and driving roles.
