Job OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MH&LD team based in Bangor.
The successful candidate will work closely with Service Managers, Ward Managers and administrative team colleagues supporting the delivery of a high quality service to patients and staff.
Applicants must be extremely flexible to meet the needs of the service, have a pleasant personality and a positive approach to their work. A good understanding of Patient Administration Systems and processes, Oracle, ESR would be advantageous. Applicants must also have a good standard of education, be adaptable and have good organisational skills.
Main duties of the jobThe Mental Health/Learning Disabilities Division is looking to appoint an experienced Secretary to work within the Hergest Unit based at Ysbyty Gwynedd. The post-holder will be expected to provide an effective and comprehensive secretarial service to the Ward Managers, Acute Care Teams and Locality Management Team. As part of the role, the post-holder will be required to minute regular meetings and support the wider admin team.
They will be required to provide cross-cover for Reception & admin colleagues and deal with both telephone and face-to-face enquiries from both patients and the general public.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
