The Sales Operations Department provides operational and strategic support to global sales teams and is the critical link between sales and many cross-functional departments. The team works closely with many departments to ensure all activities are completed with a high degree of accuracy. The team has a reputation for high standards and high-quality data provision, and this reputation needs to be maintained at all times.
Job Purpose:
This role involves managing the sales order process, handling new and renewing business, maintaining accurate records for reporting and audit purposes, and working on strategic projects to drive efficiency. You will play a key role in data management, process optimization, and identifying opportunities for improvement. We seek someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to implement new ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with global sales and renewal teams to facilitate the order process.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with departments such as Sales, Legal, and Finance to achieve strategic objectives.
- Diligently review orders and supporting documentation, check for completeness, clarify issues, and update CRM system accordingly.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of corporate data.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating where necessary.
- Liaise with technical and Finance teams to ensure delivery of business-critical information.
- Review and update the CRM system with contractual and deal-related information.
- Prepare and distribute reports to various departments and organizational levels.
- Support global Business Operations Teams with administrative duties.
- Own regional onboarding and training for new employees.
- Assess current sales and business practices to recommend innovative improvements for efficiency.
- Partner with regional sales teams to adopt and implement Sales Operations best practices.
