Head of Distributor Channel Management

The RoleThis role is a new position critical to BBI’s revenue growth strategy and plan. The primary role of the Head of Distributor Channel Management is to establish, implement and manage new distributor channels in both untapped/under‑represented geographies and adjacent markets.
In this role your responsibilities will include:- Develop and implement a global distributor strategy and plan that will complement and augment the global sales strategy
- Establish a distributor onboarding and management tool set for global adoption
- Work with regional Sales leaders to embed distributors and their management into local sales teams in order to complement the established direct sales channels
- Establish a clear and robust governance framework to set, monitor and report key performance measures to drive performance and ultimately revenue growth (including opportunity forecasting)
- Establish an operating model with Product Management and Marketing leadership that will enable the appropriate selection and allocation of products to distributor partners, and provide clear, accurate and timely technical, pricing, marketing and training related materials
- Work with legal and Commercial leadership to ensure commercial and legal agreements are appropriate, in protecting and managing risks to BBI, while similarly incentivising distributor partners to drive sales growth
- Conduct market research to ensure BBI’s distributor strategy is optimised and regularly refreshed
- Significant channel management and/ or sales and marketing experience
- Experience with in the in vitro diagnostics sector is preferred, but will also consider life sciences and distributor sales experience
- Solid track record of successful development of distribution channels, nationally and internationally
- Experience in building long term relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Legal and negotiation training and/or experience
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
