Export and Supply Chain Administrator

South Wirral

£28,000 - £33,000

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a global business in their local office, based on the outskirts of Chester. It is an 18‑month contract joining a small, dynamic team as an Export and Supply Chain Administrator.

The role will be 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am‑5:30pm. You will also receive an extensive onboarding programme and ongoing training, with the scope to develop and learn.

The Export and Supply Chain Administrator will support the export market, ensuring shipments comply with regulations and company processes. This will include all documentation and liaison with the factory warehouse in order to deliver a high service level for customers.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Support the sales department on exports to outside the EU
  • Act as a main contact for export customer service activities
  • Monitor production planning and notify internal customers of any delays
  • Collect internal prices and update in ERP system
  • Liaise with internal customer as required from order entry to dispatch/receipt of goods
  • Place customer order entries in ERP systems (SAP/Exact)
  • Create Certificates of Origin via Chamber of Commerce
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and hauliers to collect and deliver goods to customer specifications
  • Fulfil and raise invoices daily in an accurate manner
  • Establish daily communication with warehouses via telephone and email
  • Book the daily incoming goods from the warehouse
  • Create weekly labels for production and make amendments if needed
  • Update Purchase Orders for planning
  • Use of hazardous system creating Dangerous Goods Notes and/or transport labels
Experience & skills
  • Customer orientated focus
  • Experience of dealing with export documents is essential
  • Practical knowledge of SAP/Exact would be beneficial
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and decision‑making skills, with the ability to interact with other members of the team and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Ability to work independently and be results driven
