I'm currently looking for a site manager / sub agent / works manager to join a reputable contractor in the Chepstow area on a permanent contract.

• Day-to-day management of site activities and operatives
• Supervising direct labour and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programmes
• Produce and manage site-specific RAMS and ensure compliance on site
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
• Preparing and updating short-term programmes and work plans
• Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management
• Coordinating materials, plant, and deliveries
• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Identifying and resolving site issues proactively

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent, Works Manager, or Site Manager
• Background in construction and/or maintenance works
• Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements
• Ability to manage multiple trades and priorities
• Engineering setting out experience and/or relevant degree/qualification desirable
• Willingness to travel to sites further afield
• Good communication and organisational skills
• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
