Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Homes team and support the successful delivery of residential developments.
Working closely with senior commercial and operational colleagues, you'll play an important role in managing project costs, supporting procurement activities, maintaining accurate commercial reporting, and helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably. You'll build strong working relationships with site teams, subcontractors and clients, becoming a trusted member of the wider project team.
The role is based at our Bangor, North Wales office, with regular site visits typically required around twice per week. We also offer flexibility to work from home where business needs allow, supporting a healthy balance between collaboration, site presence and remote working.
What we’re looking forTo succeed in this role, you'll have previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the house building sector and a good understanding of cost reporting, subcontract management, valuations, variations and final accounts. You'll need to be organised, commercially minded and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Technology plays a key part in this role, so you'll need to be confident using Microsoft Excel and keen to embrace new systems. We use a range of bespoke platforms, so an ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technology is essential.
Just as importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude. You'll be proactive, keen to learn, happy to collaborate with others and willing to get involved wherever needed. You'll enjoy finding solutions, building relationships and contributing positively to the success of the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive business, work on high-quality residential developments and develop your career alongside experienced commercial professionals.
