Job DescriptionThe Role
As a Copy Editor you will be the first point of contact for our global author pool, editing HR and end-user-facing content. The role involves administering metadata in our content management system, Contentful, and training new authors on the platform. You’ll support our publication and localisation workflows, suggesting workflow optimisations as appropriate.
You will apply best practices, voice and style guides, and content templates to drive efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness, ensuring the delivery of the highest-quality support content to client's employees and partners.
As a liaison for the NKP, you’ll provide consultative editorial and CMS support for teams migrating content to the platform. In partnership with the Content Strategy Manager, you will support recurring knowledge-base projects, including but not limited to:
- Resource library migrations (internal and M&A)
This role reports to the Content Strategy Manager.
Responsibilities- Edit employee-facing HR, operations, and tech support content from the global author group.
- Proofread article submissions and educate authors about our content standards.
- Support Contentful publication and localisation workflows.
- Implement findings from annual content audits, engineering and CMS updates, and end-user feedback.
- Edit product documentation for internally designed tools managed by the Product team.
- Ensure content is easy to find, understand, and use for end-users.
- Collaborate with external partners to align runbooks, manuals, and team-specific content to NKP standards.
Your strongest qualification for this position will be multiple years of experience copy-editing or proofreading for a traditional publishing house or global organisation with a robust in-house style guide.
Required- Native or bilingual proficiency in English
- Extensive experience editing support or educational content for non-technical corporate audiences within a large enterprise or complex organisational environment
- Background in editing technical documentation or enablement, with the ability to synthesise technical content into accurate, approachable material
- Exceptional familiarity with AP Style or a similar in-house style guide
- Ability to manage multiple editorial projects with varying deadlines
- Excellent communication, collaboration, time management, and organisational skills
- Experience building content in a content management system (CMS), preferably Contentful
- Comfortable giving and receiving editorial feedback
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms, preferably Tableau
- Professional fluency in Spanish, French, or Italian would be a plus
