Our client is a friendly, forward-thinking structural engineering consultancy based in Bangor, North Wales
, and they are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join the team. If you enjoy working closely with clients, solving real-world design challenges, and seeing your ideas come to life on site, this role offers the chance to take ownership of diverse and rewarding projects.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll lead and deliver a wide range of projects including domestic alterations, home extensions, and bespoke commercial developments
. You will play a key role in technical design, client relationships, and mentoring junior engineers within the practice.

• Lead structural design and analysis across residential and commercial projects
• Produce structural calculations, drawings, and reports
• Manage projects from concept through to construction
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients
• Conduct site visits and provide practical engineering solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development within the team

• Domestic alterations and structural modifications
• Residential extensions and refurbishments
• New-build homes and bespoke residential schemes
• Small-to-medium commercial and mixed-use developments

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE)
• Strong experience in residential structural engineering
• Confident producing calculations and technical reports
• Familiarity with common materials including steel, timber, masonry, and reinforced concrete
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
