Job Description

As we continue our expansion, we are seeking a technically proficient yet commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will play a key part in the group’s financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, enhancing commercial insight and supporting strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key Responsibilities Finance Business Partnering & Commercial Support
  • Partner with the CFO and department heads to support the annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process
  • Provide robust financial analysis to support commercial decision‑making
  • Deliver product profitability analysis and margin reporting to inform pricing and investment decisions
  • Enhance KPI dashboards and performance metrics aligned to company strategy
Financial Reporting & Control
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts including variance analysis
  • Prepare all group statutory reporting and tax filings
  • Ownership of all key tasks including posting journals, ledgers, bank reconciliations, payment runs and expenses processing.
  • Maintain and develop a strong financial controls framework
  • Lead cash flow forecasting and analysis
  • Support international group reporting requirements
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as accountants, tax advisors, auditors and banks
Operational Finance
  • Continuously improve and automate financial processes, systems and reporting
  • Support the CFO with board reporting and investor reporting requirements
Qualifications Essential
  • Significant experience in management accounting and finance business partnering
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial modelling
  • Experience in product profitability analysis and commercial performance reporting
  • Experience working within or supporting an international group structure
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including balance sheet and P&L ownership
  • Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
Highly Desirable
  • Experience with in, and/or knowledge of, the private markets industry
  • Experience of Fund Accounting
  • Experience supporting a high‑growth technology business
  • Exposure to US accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with AI tools and automation technologies to improve financial reporting and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
