Post 1 – Team Leader Finance – Estates, Utilities & Facilities (Corporate Finance)
Supports the estates, utilities and facilities functions. Develops excellent working relationships with senior finance colleagues, shared services and operational leads, leading the finance function within the corporate finance team.
Post 2 – Team Leader Finance – Secondary Care, Ysbyty Gwynedd (West IHC)Supports secondary care services across Emergency Care, Medicine, Surgical & Management Divisions. Works closely with clinical and operational teams to maximise value for money.
Post 3 – Team Leader Finance – Pan‑BCU ServicesProvides senior financial leadership across pan‑BCU services, overseeing vaccination/health protection, RPB funding, RIF, Further Faster and the Housing with Care Fund. Leads on budget setting, financial modelling, in‑year monitoring, year‑end reconciliation, robust governance, compliance, audit support and value delivery.

Experience in senior finance within a large organisation is required. CCAB qualification (or active study) is essential.
Responsibilities- Management accounting and business partnership support for services.
- Financial advice and information to corporate and operational divisions.
- Support of the Assistant/Chief Finance Officer and divisional management teams, including performance reviews and highlighting key financial issues.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and governance standards.
- Student accountant member of CCAB institute or equivalent experience.
- Qualified CCAB member (desirable).
- ECDL qualified or other relevant IT qualification (desirable).
- Senior finance experience in a large organisation.
- Experience in management accounting, sustainability and reporting.
- In‑depth knowledge of NHS financial and accounting procedures, legislation and policy.
- Data manipulation, investigation and analysis experience.
- Experience dealing with complex situations and delivering challenging corporate objectives.
- Experience working within a complex, politically sensitive organisation.
- Successfully influencing senior clinicians and other professionals and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience preparing business cases and benchmarking (desirable).
- Experience working in the National Health Service at a senior level (desirable).
- Analyse and communicate highly complex information effectively at all levels.
- Strong analytical, interpretative and comparative skills.
- Effective communication in writing, numeric and statistical presentation, and verbally.
- Excellent IT skills including advanced spreadsheet and database design.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and deliver high quality work within deadlines and resource constraints.
- Staff management and development.
- Project management, planning, organisation and prioritisation.
- Expert knowledge of financial management systems and performance analysis tools.
- Professional understanding of accounting and governance policies and procedures.
- English & Welsh communication skills (Welsh desirable).
- Professional, high personal awareness and effectiveness.

- Ability to create effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
