About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and culturally savvy Content Labeler to help us improve Reddit’s content recommendation systems. In this role, you will analyze and categorize Reddit’s posts and communities by understanding their culture, trends, audience, and themes. Your work will directly support machine learning models through precise labeling, quality assurance, and insightful data observations that enhance content discovery and user experience on the platform.

• Review and analyze Reddit posts and subreddits to accurately assign content labels based on culture, topics, audience, and genre.
• Apply content policy and labeling guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate categorization.
• Perform quality assurance on outputs generated by machine learning models, ensuring data quality for training and recommendations.
• Identify patterns, trends, and insights in large datasets related to Reddit communities and content.
• Collaborate with ML teams by preparing high-quality labeled datasets to enhance recommendation algorithms.
• Document and communicate observations and insights clearly to internal stakeholders.

• Proven experience in reviewing, moderating, or assessing digital content.
• Deep understanding of Reddit, online communities, internet culture, and emerging trends.
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and nuances in data.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow content policies strictly.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting findings clearly and accurately.

• Experience working with machine learning datasets or quality assurance for AI/ML models.
• Background as a content creator/curator on social platforms like Tik Tok, You Tube, or Instagram.
• Experience as a moderator on Reddit or similar online communities.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Familiarity with or openness to learn content labeling platforms and ML data processes
• Basic proficiency in data management tools such as Excel or Google Sheets
• Comfortable working in an environment involving AI and machine learning workflows
