Application Specialist

Location: Fully remote (occasional UK travel)

Clearance: UK Security Clearance (SC) – Required

• Work on enterprise-scale application packaging and deployment in a high-profile IT environment.
• Hands-on with cutting-edge tools including SCCM, Intune, Admin Studio, and Power Shell.
• Opportunity to modernize legacy applications and deliver reliable, automated software deployments.

We’re looking for two Application Packaging & Deployment Engineers to package, test, and deploy applications across the enterprise. You’ll work closely with deployment teams, service operations, and governance teams to ensure consistent, secure, and compliant software delivery.

• Package applications using Admin Studio, Install Shield, and Power Shell.
• Maintain consistent naming conventions and package standards.
• Migrate legacy applications to MSIX or Intune-based deployment.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications via SCCM and Intune.
• Maintain deployment infrastructure including collections, boundaries, and distribution points.
• Work across pre-production and production environments to ensure smooth rollout.
• Document processes and share knowledge with internal teams.
• Participate in change management and governance activities.

• Proven experience in application packaging (MSI, App-V, Intune).
• Strong command of SCCM (Current Branch).
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and Conditional Access.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-team enterprise environment.
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MD-102) and ITIL Foundation are desirable.
