Retail Cleaner

Overview

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores.

• Operate machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies when required
• Outside work to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied
• Support a customer focused environment and work as part of a team to produce sparkling results for customers
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness; a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

• Part time in-store cleaner based in Sainsbury's Whitley Bay store on a fixed term basis
• 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21
• Immediate start is available
• Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week; various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available
• Shift patterns:
  Early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work
• Current shift pattern is:
  Sunday 05:00–08:00;
  Monday 04:00–07:00;
  Tuesday Off;
  Wednesday 04:00–07:00;
  Thursday 04:00–07:00;
  Friday 04:00–07:00;
  Saturday 04:00–07:00
• You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime
