PT Renewables a fast-growing management consultancy delivering sustainability and energy solutions to a global client base.
We're supporting their search for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Consultancy Services to lead, develop and scale their consultancy offering.
The RoleThis is a hands-on senior leadership position, combining strategic oversight with direct client delivery, team leadership and service development.
You’ll be the driving force behind the consultancy function - setting direction, building capability and ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients.
Your day-to-day- Lead and develop the internal consultancy team delivering services - this includes ESOS, SBTi, LCA, EPDs, TCFD, Carbon Foot printing (Scopes 1, 2 &
3) and sustainability training. - Own and implement process improvements across upselling, cross-selling, service delivery and client communications.
- Work closely with Marketing to bring consultancy expertise to life through webinars, case studies, thought leadership, articles and industry insights.
- Set, manage and track team targets, P&L, account retention and growth.
- Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team, providing regular updates on performance, opportunities, success stories and priorities.
- Foster a strong, positive team culture through regular 1-to-1s, coaching and leadership of team leads.
- Oversee consultancy project workflows to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Lead client engagement for consultancy services, converting new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
We're looking for a confident, driven leader with a strong consultancy background and a passion for sustainability.
This will suit someone with a strategic thinking mindset, commercial awareness, and enjoys being involved with both clients and delivery.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading consultancy teams and complex client engagements.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing KPIs, P&L and account growth.
- Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks, reporting and regulatory drivers.
- The ability to inspire, develop and retain high-performing teams.
- A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge and innovate.
- Salary up to £70,000 - flex for the right candidate
- Mostly remote role with 1-2 days based in the Newcastle office
