Location: Bangor
Carer's Programme [CrISP] Support Volunteer
- Community Hub,Bangor
Alzheimer's Society
Bangor, UK
4 hours every month until September 30, 2026
Responsibilities- Assist staff to prepare and facilitate group programmes
- Chat with carers during the programme
- Help staff with tea, coffee, and refreshments
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Ability to treat conversations with discretion and sensitivity
- Minimum age of 17
- Direct experience with dementia not required; please indicate any relevant volunteering experience with groups or individuals
- Availability to volunteer approximately 4.5 hours per month (typically 10:30 am–1:00 pm on the first two Tuesdays of the month)
- Reasonable travel expenses and ongoing training will be provided
