Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to join a forward thinking, friendly teaching practice on the outskirts of Bristol. The Orchard Medical Centre are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Treatment Room Nurse to join our friendly nursing team within a dynamic and progressive primary care environment. The role would suit an experienced treatment room nurse looking to join a fresh supportive team or a registered nurse looking to develop a career within primary care.

Main duties of the job

• Actively manage a caseload of patients autonomously, including wound care, vaccinations, health promotion, health checks, and cervical cytology.

The post is for 16 hours per week. This can be covered over 2 or 3 days and will ideally include a Monday and Thursday, but can be negotiated for the right candidate.

We pride ourselves on being an exceptional practice with a friendly team working from a one site purpose built surgery, on the outskirts of Bristol, within minutes of both Bristol and Bath. We also form part of the larger Network 4 PCN.
