Availability Window

  • Sunday: 06:00 – 15:00
  • Monday: 06:00 – 15:00
  • Thursday: 06:00 – 15:00

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, but if you prefer fewer hours (as low as 12) we also have opportunities and would still love to hear from you.

We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows above and give you three weeks' notice of the exact shifts. We support flexibility, so if your availability only loosely matches the advertised times we’d still love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve shoppers better each day.

  • Live Tesco’s values, make everyone feel welcome, and always follow policies.
  • Accept deliveries into the store when required.
  • Build rapport with customers so that they leave with a great shopping experience.
  • Take initiative and make decisions that benefit customers.
  • Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
  • Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit, celebrate success, and have fun.
  • Be punctual, well presented, and ready as a brand ambassador.
