Stockroom Coordinator Volunteer
Your local British Red Cross shop has a variety of activities for volunteers. From sorting stock and preparing donated items for sale to providing great customer service to donors and customers, we have something to suit most people’s interests.
- Unpacking and sorting donated items
- Identifying and recording Gift Aid stock for sale
- Keeping the stockroom clean and safe
- Supporting other stockroom volunteers
- Other general activities as required
No experience is needed; full training will be provided.
When can I volunteer? A few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager. There is no minimum commitment or fixed hours; we only ask you to agree on hours you can attend and to inform us of any changes.

Shop VolunteerFrom creating exciting window displays to helping customers, volunteers play a key role in keeping our shop vibrant and welcoming.
- Creating exciting window displays
- Sorting donations for selling in the shop
- Helping customers on the shop floor
- Using the till
- No previous experience is needed
- A warm smile and a friendly outlook
- Complete training (provided) prior to starting
