Removals Driver​/Porter

THE EMPLOYER IS: T'S REMOVALS & STORAGE LTDT’S Removals and Storage is seeking a Removals Driver/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our clients' belongings. The applicant will be tasked with driving our vehicles to and from our depot to our customers property and safely loading & unloading their belongings in the most professional manner possible.

Our vehicles are 3.5 tonne luton box vans and must always be driven with care, particularly when loaded.

• Working under the guidance of your manager and team leaders to deliver operational excellence.
• Safely drive and operate company vehicles for local and long-distance removals, ensuring the secure transport of customers' furniture and belongings.
• Assist in loading and unloading items with the utmost care, following best practices for handling and safety.
• Complete vehicle checks to ensure all equipment is in safe working order before each job.
• Conduct inventories of items being moved to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle and equipment.

• Driving license.
• Experience in removals or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in dismantling and reassembling furniture would be beneficial.
