We are recruiting a Yard Sales Adviser to join the successful and supportive team at our branch in Bangor.
What will I be doing?- Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional way, supporting with product enquiries
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles, and preparing customer orders for collection or delivery
- Operating forklifts and handling equipment in line with safety procedures
- Supporting stock management, including replenishment and stock counts
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment
- Working with the branch team to support sales, service and operational targets
- Completing health and safety checks and required training
- Representing the business positively and supporting our values of Decency, Passion and Pride
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties to support the wider team and business
Full-time: 41.5 hours per week. Flexible working hours/patterns will be considered.
Branch opening hours are:
Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00, Fri 07.30 - 16.00 and Sat 08.00 - 12.00.
- Experience in a similar or trade-related environment (helpful but not essential)
- A forklift licence, or willingness to be trained
- A strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
- A team-focused approach and pride in your work
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Experience in a similar role or environment
- Previous forklift (FLT) experience and/or licence
