Summary
To be considered for this role, you must either be a licensed Journeyman or a Master Electrician. The Electrical Foreman performs a variety of tasks and assists other craft workers in the construction, maintenance and repair activities on solar PV systems. This is the lead administrator on NES CSG construction sites and fills the leadership position for all crew members during the entire workday.
You must have a valid Drivers License and a reliable vehicle.
This is a full time traveling position.
- Set up daily JHA sheets.
- Ensure time is entered into Procore daily, is accurate, and is signed off by all field crew for which the time is entered.
- Determine need and send in requests for additional materials, equipment, and personnel. Include pictures if possible.
- Attend daily/weekly conference call with NES managers and be responsible for a brief review of progress/needs of site.
- Be available for overtime or emergency response as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be either on site or having a designated crew member in their place until they return. It is expected the foreman for each site to be available to crew members as much as possible except for material runs, meeting attendance, or other events that pull them from the site.
This position is performed in outside weather conditions all 12 months of the year.
The position lifts heavy objects, 50 lbs or less, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints or throws objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi‑limbed coordination.
The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
This is a full‑time position and may require longer hours and frequent weekend work.
