This is a full-time role for an Optometrist based in Bangor, ME. The Optometrist will perform eye examinations, diagnose and treat vision problems, prescribe corrective lenses, and manage ocular diseases. The role includes educating patients on eye care, consulting with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate patient records.

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• License to practice optometry in the state of Maine
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing vision conditions
• Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and managing ocular diseases
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Commitment to staying updated on the latest advances in optometry
