Nurse Educator
Description
Husson University’s College of Health is seeking qualified candidates for part‑time adjunct teaching opportunities in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a master’s degree preferred, and be available to teach on the Bangor, Maine campus. Teaching experience in a skills laboratory or clinical for a BSN nursing program is preferred.
Potential Course Assignments- Fundamentals of Nursing (Lab)
- Introduction to Medical Surgical Nursing (Lab)
- Medical Surgical Nursing I or II (Lab)
- Women and Infants (Lab)
- Teach assigned nursing laboratory courses during the fall and/or spring semester.
- Collaborate with full‑time faculty to maintain common syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
- Submit timely grades and assessment data in accordance with university policies.
Education: BSN required, MSN preferred.
Experience: Teaching experience in a 4‑year accredited BSN program preferred.
Commitment to evidence‑based teaching practices and continuous improvement. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
