General Description
Create and maintain operating system images, driver packages and task sequences in SCCM or MDT.
Security update management using SCCM or WSUS.
Working knowledge of OS deployment using SCCM & MDT.
Windows Imaging & OS Deployment:
Customizing and creating WIM images, Exposure in Image
X, Windows PE, WAIK, ADK, Windows ICD & DISM tools.
Requires detailed knowledge of Windows (Win 7/XP/VISTA/Windows 8/Windows 10), Windows registry, Applications, and computer drive imaging technologies and client platforms and related hardware.
Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in an environment conducive to the specifications.
Applying modifications and customizations to the OS through registry modifications.
Develop/create and maintain Windows 10 and later desktop PC and laptop images, integrate and test software applications and upgrades, package and deploy base image and applications via SCCM.
Develop and deploy scripting and automation for image and application deployment/operational and maintenance in support of production systems and workstations, including batch and Power Shell scripting, PXE, .msi development and modification.
Knowledge of Bit Locker and Encryption.
Developing utilities and processes to optimize images and installation procedures.
Develop and document design specification and build processes.
Troubleshooting/debugging software and hardware problems related to the operating system or supporting applications, drivers, and services.
Full understanding of downloading and deploying software updates using SCCM 2012, creating packages, applications, task sequences. Experience in creating and providing SCCM database report.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 Proplus Product suites and administration.
Deploying SCCM OSD Task Sequences.
Knowledge of Azure AD and Azure domain join.
Define/test and certify client computing hardware standards and configuration for end users.
Security hardening for Windows client operating systems.
Knowledge to use Group Policy and System Center Configuration Manager to centrally deploy changes throughout the environment.
Good knowledge of Windows 10 operating system is a must.
Solving Level 2 tickets.

- Application Compatibility Toolkit
- Windows System Image Manager
- OSCDIMG, BCDBoot, etc.
- Windows Reinstallation Environment
- User State Migration Tool (USMT)
- Windows 7/8.1/10/2008R2/2012R2
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions
- Networking concepts including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, etc.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good documentation skills
- Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
- Great customer handling skills
- Able to handle unforeseen situations
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly in person, on the telephone and in written documents
- Good problem analysis and problem solving skills

Experience:
- Experience in Linux/Unix platforms installation & imaging.
- Experience in software development, processes, and methods.
- QA/Software Testing/Troubleshooting experience.
- Relevant 5-7 Years.
- Preferred certifications: 70-680, 70-698, 70-697, 70-698, 70-689, 70-692, 70-687, 70-688.
- Compulsory MCSE/MCITP/MCSA/MCTS.
- Preferred to have 70-401 (SCCM 2007) or 70-243 (SCCM 2012).
